Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a qualified healthcare administrator to recruit, staff, orient, train, discipline, and evaluate personnel while ensuring compliance with policies and patient-care standards.

You will oversee fiscal operations, regulatory compliance, QA programs, and coordination with corporate clients, including AR management and reporting. A strong clinical background and licensure support are required.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing/medical assistant practices (RN/LPN/MA) [Required]
• Comprehensive knowledge of general radiographic procedures (BMO/RT) [Required]
• Working knowledge of POC lab testing [Required]
• Strong critical-thinking skills [Required]
• Ability to communicate in English to perform job duties [Required]
• Proficiency in basic math functions [Required]
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook [Required]
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email software [Required]
• Aptitude for strong organizational skills [Required]
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds [Required]

Responsibilities

• Recruits, staffs, orients, trains, disciplines, and evaluates personnel in accordance with policy and laws.
• Manages fiscal operations including budget development, cost management, revenue generation, and AP.
• Reviews time and attendance; monitors staffing, turnover, overtime, and absenteeism.
• Rounds with team members and patients to ensure patient experience standards are upheld.
• Maintains safe and efficient center operations.
• Manages activities to meet licensure and accreditation regulations and QA program.
• Investigates and responds to complaints with corrective actions.
• Communicates with corporate clients to monitor satisfaction and identify opportunities.
• Manages Accounts Receivable, updates staff on changes, monitors claims, and submits reports.
• Submits required reports and implements problem-solving mechanisms.
• Performs front desk duties, drug screens, and clinical support duties to reduce overtime.
• Manages additional service lines including eCare, Employer Care, Kid’s Urgent Care, and/or Primary Care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
