Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years medical assistant and customer service experience in physician office required
• 1 year medical assistant experience in the same or similar specialty required
• High School Diploma or GED; CMA certification required; BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Performs general office duties.
• Assist with payroll and staffing functions under guidance, including hiring, training, and coaching staff.
• Ensure budgetary standards for labor and supplies for front, back, and clinical offices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures and propose changes as needed.
• Participate in regulatory and proficiency checks for quality management and accreditation.
• Manage managed care referral process for accurate appointments, results, and authorizations.
• Maintain high level of customer service in all office areas and with patients, physicians, and departments.
• Perform CSR and MA functions as needed.
• Participate in performance improvement projects.
