Job summary

Northwest Physicians Group in Amarillo, TX, seeks an experienced healthcare operations leader to manage the day-to-day administration of the medical office, revenue cycle, and compliance across multiple sites.

You will oversee licenses, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting, staff training, and collaboration with senior leadership to ensure service excellence and optimal financial performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree with 5 years healthcare supervisory experience required.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years healthcare supervisory/management experience or CMPE certification.
• Work experience: Five (5) years' healthcare supervisory experience.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office, EMR systems, medical and billing terminology, healthcare or hospital office settings, service excellence, revenue cycle operations and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations/functions of the medical office, physicians and associates in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain licenses/certifications and primary source validation.
• Oversee revenue cycle activities: billing, claims, collections, reporting and credentialing.
• Coordinate payroll and accounts payable; monitor budget variances and plan adjustments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on planning, budgeting, procurement and employee satisfaction.
