Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a front office professional for a non-exempt medical office position in El Paso. You will handle greeting patients, phone calls, scheduling, data entry, insurance verification, and patient portal enrollment with attention to HIPAA guidelines and accuracy.

The role supports revenue cycle tasks, collects co-pays, posts charges, and assists in referrals. A high school diploma and 2 years in medical office customer service are preferred; benefits are offered by

Qualificações

• High school diploma/GED required with completion medical office assistant program preferred.
• Certification: healthcare management/administration certification preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients entering the physician practice and answers office phones.
• Schedules appointments, confirms and reschedules as needed.
• Checks in patients and collects demographics; enters data into electronic system; verifies insurance.
• Assists in checkout, referral processing and scheduling; collects co-pays and posts charges.
• Performs charge entry and patient balance processing; communicates office policies to patients.
• Explains and enrolls patients in the patient portal.
