Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking a Medical Office Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of the Hospitalist Program. You will supervise up to 10 site team members, manage patient flow, scheduling, and insurance billing, and uphold a professional office environment.

This full-time role offers benefits including health/dental/vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) match, and performance bonuses. Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday and may vary.

Qualifications

• Required High School or Equivalent.
• 2 years in a health delivery setting.
• Preferred supervisory, coordinator, team leader, or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate up to 10 office practice site team members within BayCare Medical Group.
• Schedule, assign work, and oversee front and back-office activities including patient appointments and insurance billing.
• Provide training and evaluation of front/back-office staff and maintain a professional office atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
