Tennessee Oncology in Nashville is seeking a Communications Operator/Patient Service Representative to support medical office operations. You will handle multiple incoming lines, connect callers to the right staff, and route messages while maintaining confidentiality and a courteous manner.

You will greet patients, conduct check-in/check-out, collect demographic and insurance information, process co-pays, schedule appointments, and assist with EMR and records preparation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience operating multiple telephone lines/switchboard.

Responsabilités

• Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Route calls, messages, and provide voicemail or paging.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and gather demographic and insurance data.
• Prepare EMR and paper charts for staff review.
• Process faxes and manage mail; ensure records are scanned.
