Job summary

Emerus Neighborhood Hospital in Etters, PA, is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT/MLS to provide technical assistance and patient-focused laboratory care across assigned areas. The role includes specimen collection, analysis, and reporting per protocol, with opportunities for growth within a small-format hospital setting.

The position emphasizes collaboration with the Laboratory Director and technical staff, adherence to safety standards, and delivering timely, accurate results for patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or MLS, required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC, required.
• PA Market: 6+ years core lab experience; Act 33/75 clearances within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks and/or complex tests in all areas of the laboratory per protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collects and processes specimens per protocol.
• Performs quality control, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and reagents.
• Delivers test results and assists with QA issues.
• Maintain safety practices and documentation for compliance.
