Emerus in Pennsylvania seeks a Medical Technologist/MLT/MLS to provide technical assistance and patient-focused care in the laboratory. The role includes specimen collection, analysis, and rapid reporting of results in a small-format hospital setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science and current BLS. A minimum of 6 years of core lab experience and Act 33/Act 73 clearances are required before/start date.

Qualifications

• PA market: minimum of 6 years core lab experience; Act 33 and Act 73 clearances required within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks and analyses in all lab areas per protocol to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Collects and processes specimens using established protocols.
• Performs quality control and troubleshooting to ensure proper instrument function.
• Validates and reports test results; assists with QA issues.
• Follows safety practices and infection control measures; maintains documentation.
• Travel to all facility locations as required and participate in meetings.
