Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biology or Biochemistry through a CLIA-approved program (required).
• MLS Certification or eligible by ASCP (required).
• Externship program completed (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests on biological specimens accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs quality control and ensures results meet established ranges.
• Maintains equipment and work area following hospital policies.
• Ensures patient safety and confidentiality of results.
