Job summary

Summit Express Clinic in Knoxville, TN seeks a Front Office Supervisor to supervise front desk operations, greet patients, and coordinate scheduling. This full-time role rotates among clinics and reports to the Site Manager.

You will train staff, maintain accurate records, handle charge entries, and ensure smooth patient flow. A high school diploma is required, with preferred 1 year in a medical office and some leadership experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Prefer one year experience in a medical office setting, healthcare and preferable management experience.
• Experience in customer service and phone screening is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front office staff to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Greet and check in patients; verify and update information.
• Maintain computerized scheduling and follow office scheduling policies.
• Answer and screen calls, take messages, provide information.
• Handle charge entry in a timely, accurate manner.
• Process charts, mail and paperwork properly.
• Provide staff training and monitor understanding of training.
• Keep lobby and work area neat and orderly.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Perform related work and some administrative duties.
