Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Specialist - Float to support outpatient physical therapy centers in the Naperville and surrounding IL locations. You will greet patients, register them, and schedule visits while handling front desk duties and patient inquiries.

Hours are varied with some evenings. The role includes collecting co-pays, coordinating with insurance payers, and performing necessary verifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.

Position: Patient Service Specialist - Float

Locations: Napervlle, Oakbrook Terrace, Burr Ridge, Oak Park, Oak Lawn, Elmhurst, La Grange and Elmwood Park, IL

Type of Employment: Part-time

Schedule: Monday- Friday (hours vary/some evenings)

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00/hour (pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy centers in Souut West Suburbs, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
