Job summary

Select Medical in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver a welcoming front-desk experience in our outpatient physical therapy center. You will manage patient check-in/check-out and help coordinate appointments, payments and basic administrative tasks.

The role offers a full-time schedule on weekdays with occasional evenings, and a compensation range of $19.50–$20 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include PTO, medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Health Care Experience preferred.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• 1 Year of Scheduling Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule: Weekdays - 40 hours weekly (2 evenings until 7pm)

Compensation: $19.50 to $20/hour (Pending experience)
