Job summary

Talentify in Tampa, FL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and patient flow at our outpatient PT center. You will greet, register, schedule appointments, process co-pays, and coordinate with insurers and attorneys as needed.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with compensation of $16.00-$20.00/hour (pending experience), plus mentorship, PTO, health benefits, and a company-matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with insurance verification required.
• Preferred: 1 year Medical Office experience.
• Preferred: 1 year Front Desk experience.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and upcoming appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation companies, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Previous therapy experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Bilingual
