RiseMe in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register visits, and manage front-desk operations in our outpatient physical therapy center.

You will schedule appointments, collect co-pays, handle insurance verifications, and coordinate with attorneys, insurers, and translators to keep operations running smoothly. This full-time role offers mentorship, PTO, comprehensive benefits, and a company 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience in a medical setting.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.

Responsibilities

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: Suffolk, VA

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule:Monday through Thursday (7am to 4:30pm) & Fridays (7am to 11am)

Compensation: $17-$19/hour - (Pending experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Experience
• Previous Therapy Experience
• 1 Year of OP Experience
