Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Scottsdale to greet patients, register them, and guide them through their visit. You will handle appointment scheduling and coordinate with insurers and external partners to ensure smooth patient flow.

As part of the outpatient clinic team, you will manage financial transactions, co-pays, and payer communications while maintaining a patient-centered front desk experience. This is a full-time, weekday role with clinic hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.
• Insurance verification experience.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visits and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, market leaders, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule:Weekdays, Monday through Friday (Clinic Hours)

Compensation:$20.00 - $23.00/hour

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
