Job summary

Select Medical in Palmer, AK seeks a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk and patient flow at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule visits, and handle billing and insurance verifications, contributing to a smooth care experience.

This full-time role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor to support patients from arrival through checkout.

Position: Patient Service Specialist
Location: 304 West Evergreen Ave, Suite 101, Palmer, AK 99645
Type of Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Weedays, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out

• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
