Job summary

Select Medical in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them at the front desk, and coordinate next steps for their visit. Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 10084 Reisterstown Road Suite 300-B Owings Mills, MD 21117

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours vary/2 evening unil 7pm per week)

Compensation:$18.00 - $23.00/hour (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Healthcare experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
