Job summary

Select Medical's outpatient physical therapy center in Broomall, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and support patients from check-in to checkout. The role combines patient assistance with basic business tasks, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every visitor.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, front desk experience preferred, and comfort handling scheduling, co-pays, insurance verifications, and coordinating with care

• Healthcare experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Location: Broomall, PA

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (hours vary) (2 evenings till 7pm per week)

Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00/hour (pending experience)
