Select Medical in Odenton, MD is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and handle front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will coordinate with insurers and external partners, collect co-pays, and assist with authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 1110 Town Center Blvd Odenton, MD 21113

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (3 days/7am -3:30pm and 2 days/9am- 5:30pm)

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00/hour (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center.
