Job summary

Select Medical in Newton, KS is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register patients at the front desk and guide them through the visit and next appointment. You will support both patient care and center operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

This full-time role (Mon-Fri) offers hourly pay between $16.00 and $18.00, with benefits including PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, and a company-matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and inform them about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation services and leadership teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations/verifications.

Compensation:$16.00 - $18.00/hour - based on experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
