Job summary

Select Medical in Navarre, FL seeks a Patient Service Specialist (PRN/Per diem) to manage front-desk operations and administrative tasks in the outpatient PT center. The role supports patient care by handling scheduling, payments, and payer verifications while coordinating with external partners.

This PRN/part-time position offers hours Mon-Fri 7am-4pm or 9am-6pm, with compensation $18–$19/hour depending on experience. Eligible for 401k after 1,000 hours within the first anniversary.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of medical office experience.
• Health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
