Select Medical in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our outpatient PT center. You will greet, register, and guide patients, schedule visits, and support front desk operations while coordinating with insurers and attorneys as needed.

The role involves collecting payments, handling authorizations, and communicating with care teams to ensure smooth patient experiences. PRN/Per diem; schedule is Mon-Fri, 9am–6pm; compensation is $15–$17/hour based on experience.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Pensacola, FL (Nine Mile Road)

Type of Employment:PRN/Per diem

Schedule:Monday-Friday; 9am to 6pm

Compensation:$15-$17/hour (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. • Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health Care Experience
