Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our Navarre, FL outpatient center. You will greet patients, register them, schedule appointments, and handle payer interactions, co-pays, and verification processes to support smooth care experiences.

This PRN/ Per diem, off-hours availability role offers part-time scheduling options with benefits eligibility after 1,000 hours, and a focus on delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.
• Health Care Experience.
• 1 Year of OP Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Navarre, FL

Type of Employment: PRN/Per diem

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7am to 4pm OR 9am to 6pm

Compensation: $18-$19/hour (pending experience)

As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center.
