Job summary

Select Medical in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, register them, and manage the front desk workflow. You will handle scheduling, payment collection, and communications with insurers and partners to ensure smooth patient flow.

The full-time SPLIT position covers four days in Myrtle Beach and one day in Conway, with weekday shifts (7am–4pm or 8am–5pm) and starting compensation at $18/hour, depending on experience, with eligible benefits and career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of front desk experience.
• Insurance verification experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visit expectations and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.

• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
• Insurance Verification Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• Health Care Experience
