Rush University Medical Center in Millington, TN is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations and patient flow at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit steps, and help schedule their next appointments, ensuring a smooth and welcoming front office experience.

You will handle appointment scheduling, coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation services, and internal teams, and support business operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience required.
• 1 year of Medical Office experience preferred.
• Insurance verification experience preferred.
• 1 year of scheduling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule: Weekdays (Varies)

Compensation: Starting at $17 hour (pending experience)
