Job summary

Select Medical in Jenks, OK seeks a Patient Service Specialist to warmly greet patients, register them for visits, and coordinate scheduling at the front desk of our outpatient physical therapy center. You will support both patient care experience and administrative operations in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday with a starting hourly wage of $15.00, with benefits including health plans, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office experience required.
• 1 year of front desk experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out


• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone


• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team


• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED


• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience


• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience
