Job summary

Select Medical in Elizabethtown, PA is hiring a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk activities and support the patient journey from arrival to checkout. You will greet patients, register them, and help schedule their visits with a focus on a positive experience.

The role includes handling co-pays, coordinating with insurers, and assisting with referrals and authorizations to keep patient flow smooth. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (3 evenings per week)

Compensation:$17.00 - $19.00/hour (pending experience)
