Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Wareham, MA outpatient physical therapy center. This on-site role involves front desk duties, scheduling, and patient flow management to ensure a positive care experience from arrival through checkout.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred candidates having 1 year of front desk experience and healthcare exposure. This is a PRN/part-time role with weekday hours and some evenings until 6pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain visit expectations and next appointment details.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation services, operational leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 3119 Cranberry Highway Wareham MA

Type of Employment: PRN, as needed

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday, some evenings until 6pm

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00/hour

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy centers, we want them to have an exceptional experience - starting at the front desk. That's where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you'll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don't underestimate the impact you can make on every patient's care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.
