Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Wareham, MA outpatient center. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients, scheduling visits, and handling front-desk operations in a fast-paced environment.

This PRN role (as needed) supports weekday operations with some evenings until 6pm. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, reflecting local market rates for front-desk healthcare roles at select outpatient sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorney offices, insurance companies and translation services, market operational leaders, and business development.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
