Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk and patient flow at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through visit expectations while coordinating appointments and payments.

The role involves regular communication with insurers and external partners, collecting co-pays, and handling authorizations and verifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 807 Easton Road Doylestown, PA 18902

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (days starting at 8am/ two evenings a week until 7pm)

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00/hour (pending experience)

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
