Rush University Medical Center in Linwood, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and collect payments at the front desk. You will coordinate with insurance providers and attorneys as needed to ensure smooth visits.

The role is full-time, weekdays, with evenings until 7pm and benefits including PTO and a comprehensive benefits package. Join our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences from check-in through checkout.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Health care experience required.
• 1 year of front desk experience required.
• Insurance verification experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Overview

Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: Linwood, NJ

Type of Employment: Full time

Schedule: Weekdays - 40 hr week (3 evenings unitl 7pm)

Compensation: $19.50 to $20/hour (Pending experience)

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Linwood, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center.
