Job summary

Select Medical in West Chester, OH is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet and register patients, schedule appointments, and handle insurance processes at our outpatient physical therapy center. Compensation is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional patient experience from the front desk and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth visits and billing accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
