Job summary

Select Medical is looking for a Patient Service Specialist in College Park, GA. This part-time role involves front desk duties at our outpatient PT center, handling patient check-in/check-out, scheduling and basic business communications to support operations.

You will greet patients, register them, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and coordinate with attorneys, insurance firms, and the center’s leadership. Hours are weekdays with up to 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience.
• Preferred: insurance verification, scheduling, and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with attorneys' offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market leaders, and the business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
