Job summary

Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time Patient Registration Specialist for our busy specialty office. You will greet patients, collect paperwork, verify insurance, and process co-pays while helping keep clinic flow smooth.

This role supports travel to remote clinics as needed, requires strong customer service, and requires accuracy in a fast-paced environment. High School Diploma is required; prior medical insurance experience is a plus; hours are Tue/Wed/Thu, 24 hours

Qualifications

• Prior medical insurance experience is beneficial.
• Ability to travel to remote clinics regularly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using medical billing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients and visitors.
• Enter demographic and insurance information into NextGen billing system.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility using Healthia and online sources.
• Collect co-pays and patient payments.
• Educate patients on TC Spine’s patient portal.
• Schedule follow-up appointments as requested by providers.
• Coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient experience.
• Contact patients by phone for demographic/insurance information.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Travel to remote sites as needed.
• Assist patients and visitors with questions.
