First Urology is seeking a Front Desk Check In/Out specialist for our Louisville, KY location. You will welcome patients, answer calls, transfer messages, and schedule appointments while maintaining accuracy in the electronic medical record.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of medical receptionist or assistant experience, knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology, and strong English communication. This full-time, in-office role offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements.
• Two years of full-time experience in a professional office environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet patients professionally and timely.
• Answer incoming calls and transfer messages per provider instructions.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance and authorizations.
• Document conversations and actions in the patient’s medical record.
• Maintain organized lobby and meet productivity benchmarks.
