Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is seeking a Front Desk Associate for our Kentucky Eye Institute locations, including Lexington. You will be the first point of contact, managing check-ins/outs, scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year medical office experience and familiarity with Nextech/ICP. A high school diploma is required, with a strong emphasis on customer service and professional communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year medical office front desk experience preferred.
• Nextech/ICP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and verifies appointment details.
• Collects ID, insurance cards, referrals, and co-payments.
• Books, confirms, and reschedules appointments; handles recall reminders.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and coverage for in-office visits.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Data entry into practice management system; ensures data accuracy.
• Handles phones and inquiries; relays messages to clinical staff.
• Maintains clean, welcoming reception area and patient flow.
