Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Louisville, KY seeks a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact, setting a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will handle check-in/out, scheduling, payments and basic administrative tasks in a clinical office setting to keep patient flow smooth.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a customer-facing role; prior medical/ophthalmic office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Medical office or ophthalmic office experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and provide identity/work eligibility in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering great service.
• Greet patients promptly, with a smile, and thank them when they leave.
• Answer phones (external and internal); provide prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Manage patient flow and communicate to maximize efficiency and customer service.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / count cash drawer.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies and procedures.
• General office duties and cleaning as assigned by the manager.
