Job summary

Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Lake Geneva is seeking a part-time Receptionist for its Optical Clinic. You will handle front-desk duties, answer phones, greet visitors, process Epic registrations, and assist with cashiering and payments.

A high school diploma and medical receptionist experience are preferred, with cross-training into multiple clinics advantageous. Flexibility to work peak hours is required, with a focus on accuracy in patient check-in and data entry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical reception experience preferred.
• Internal Receptionist candidates must have at least two years’ experience in a Receptionist role with Mercyhealth or be cross trained in 3+ clinic departments/locations.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls and routes to appropriate personnel.
• Welcomes visitors and maintains lobby areas.
• Performs cashiering and collects co-pays when required in Epic.
• Schedules patient appointments and handles Epic registration processes.
