Job summary

Lincare in Springdale, AR is seeking an on-site DME technician to set up CPAP/RAD equipment and manage related supplies. Responsibilities include documenting patient data, verifying insurance for supplies, and coordinating shipments to patients’ homes when needed.

You will perform setups in a timely, professional manner, instruct patients on safe usage, maintain equipment cleanliness, and monitor compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Experience performing CPAP/RAD setups and equipment checks.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and travel to patients' homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner.
• Cleans rental equipment and maintains warehouse organization.
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient.
• Monitors mdINR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Manage the center's oximetry process.
• Follows applicable company policies including Safety & Regulatory Manual (OSHA, Emergency Planning).
• Participates in on-call responsibilities for the center (frequency depends on center size).
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance and patient care activities.
• May serve as backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or absenteeism.
• Requires use of a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Job description

This employee will set up CPAPs, Respiratory Assist Devices (RADs), maintain CPAP/RAD Compliance, manage CPAP/RAD supplies/inquiries/orders, call mdINR missed appointments, manage Oximetry process, and complete all other tasks assigned/related to the functionality of the center.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner
  • May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes as well
  • This includes completion of all required documentation, instructs patient on the safe and proper use of equipment
• Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient
• Monitors mdINR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Manage the center's oximetry process
• Follows applicable policies and procedures of the company, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including but not limited to General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning
• Responsible for participating in on-call responsibilities for the center
  • The frequency of participation will depend on the size of the center and the number of employees sharing the responsibility
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities
