Lincare in Gainesville, FL seeks a dedicated CPAP/RAD setup technician to support center operations and patient care. You will perform CPAP/RAD setups, instruct patients on safe use, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.

You will maintain equipment cleanliness, monitor compliance, handle supply requests, assist with insurance verification and shipping, participate in on-call rotations, and represent the company with professional conduct and a patient‑focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups professionally and timely.
• May set up oxygen equipment and other DME at patients' homes.
• Completes required documentation and instructs patients on safe use.
• Cleans rental equipment and maintains warehouse organization.
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Handles patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies; verifies insurance and arranges shipping.
• Monitors mdINR Compliance and follows up with non-compliant patients.
• Manages the center's oximetry process.
• Adheres to Safety & Regulatory policies (OSHA, Emergency Planning).
• Participates in on-call duties; frequency depends on center size.
• Represents the company with professional appearance and patient care.
• May back up teammates during vacations or absences.
• Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.

This employee will set up CPAPs, Respiratory Assist Devices (RADs), maintain CPAP/RAD Compliance, manage CPAP/RAD supplies/inquiries/orders, call mdINR missed appointments, manage Oximetry process, and complete all other tasks assigned/related to the functionality of the center.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs CPAP/RAD setups in a timely and professional manner
  • May also perform setup of oxygen equipment and other DME in patients' homes as well
  • This includes completion of all required documentation, instructs patient on the safe and proper use of equipment
• Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area
• Monitors CPAP/RAD Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Receives and responds to patient requests for CPAP/RAD supplies, including insurance verification, confirmation of the specific supplies needed, and arranging for them to be shipped to the patient
• Monitors mdINR Compliance report and follows up with non-compliant patients
• Manage the center's oximetry process
• Follows applicable policies and procedures of the company, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including but not limited to General Safety, OSHA, and Emergency Planning
• Responsible for participating in on-call responsibilities for the center
  • The frequency of participation will depend on the size of the center and the number of employees sharing the responsibility
• Represents the company through professional personal appearance, patient care activities
• May serve as a backup to other employees for vacation, illness, or other periods of absenteeism
• Requires use of personal vehicle and a valid driver's license
