Job summary

DASCO HME LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver and assemble equipment, educate patients or caregivers on use and benefits, and perform related warehouse duties. The role requires compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines and includes occasional after-hours on-call shifts.

Applicants should have a valid driver's license and a background in residential delivery or healthcare customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivers medical equipment and supplies and educates patient/caregiver on use and benefits.
• Maintains compliance logs and records per policy and procedure.
• Adheres to HIPAA, Joint Commission, FDA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
• Provides afterhours coverage with other Medical Equipment Technicians.
• Supports training of new Medical Equipment Technicians as requested by the manager.
• Identifies patient needs and potential revenue opportunities and relays them to Customer Service.
• Supports vehicle maintenance and warehouse/inventory tasks.
