Job summary

CSL Plasma in Weslaco, TX is seeking an entry-level donor center clerk to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening and enrollment process. You will assist with health checks, data entry, and answering donor questions under SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with screening procedures, including health history review, basic medical questions, and referrals to medical staff.
• Educate donors on the screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies as trained.
• Register and transfer donors as needed based on training and center needs.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor well-being during/after pheresis and notify staff of any reactions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-supplied work environment.
