Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Medical Director for Infectious Disease in Saint Augustine, FL. The outpatient facility seeks a physician to lead care delivery, oversee staff, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient wellbeing.

The role requires an MD or DO with active licensure, DEA and Furnishing licenses, and outpatient experience. Expect 14–18 patient visits daily with no nights or weekends, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Must possess valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Comfortable seeing 14–18 patients per day.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day of the visit or within 72 hours, including E/M coding.
