Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking a Medical Director, Infectious Disease, for an outpatient facility in Saint Augustine, FL. The physician will lead clinical operations, provide primary care services, and supervise PAs and NPs in a mission-driven clinic.

The role requires an MD or DO with an active license, DEA and Furnishing licenses, CPR/BLS, and outpatient experience. Expect 14–18 patients per day and a robust benefits package with base salary plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care and meet productivity targets.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E/M codes.
• Collaborate with care team and supervise mid-level providers.
• Manage prescriptions and renewals within 72 hours.
• Respond to voicemails/emails daily and support patient retention efforts.
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Utilize protected administrative time for leadership duties.
