The physician will lead clinical care, ensure high-quality outcomes, and oversee daily operations with a focus on outpatient infectious disease and family/internal medicine capabilities. The role requires MD/DO, active license, valid DEA, furnishing license, no night or weekend shifts, and the capacity to see 14–18 patients per day while maintaining compliant

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum of 14–18 patients daily in outpatient care.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity targets.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E/M billing codes.
• Provide primary care services for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) including chart reviews.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
