ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director with Infectious Disease expertise for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. The role focuses on high-quality patient care with no night or weekend shifts and supervision of PAs/NPs in a collaborative team environment.

Applicants must be MD/DO with active license, valid DEA, and Furnishing license; board certification in ID preferred. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO with an active state medical license.
• Must have valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Must have active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Oversee schedule, minimize no-shows, and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation on the visit or within 72 hours, including accurate E/M coding.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions (hypertension, diabetes, infections, HIV, STIs, etc.).
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs/NPs) and perform chart reviews or audits as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive protected administrative time.
