Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is seeking a physician to lead HIV primary care in an outpatient facility serving underserved communities, including LGBTQ individuals. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care with a dedicated team and a schedule focused on daytime outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Active state MD or DO license in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
• Valid DEA registration and furnishing license.
• Experience treating HIV/AIDS in outpatient primary care.
• Able to obtain AAHIVM certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician-led HIV primary care in an outpatient setting.
• See up to 15–18 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a full support team including Practice Manager, MA and RNs.
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
• Experience treating and diagnosing patients with HIV/AIDS in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• The ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS certification
