Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is seeking a Physician for our HIV primary care outpatient facility in Tacoma, WA. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to underserved communities, including LGBTQ individuals and people living with HIV/AIDS.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, building patient trust, and reducing barriers to care. AHF offers a sustainable practice model, strong support staff, and a path toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree and an active medical license.
• DEA registration and furnishing license.
• Experience treating HIV/AIDS in outpatient primary care.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient HIV primary care to underserved populations.
• Collaborate with a full support team including PM, MAs, and RNs.
• Lead patient-centered care and reduce barriers to access.

As a Physician in an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility, you’ll work alongside a dedicated team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for underserved communities, including LGBTQ individuals and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Opportunity Highlights

• Base salary, retention bonus up to $50,000, quarterly bonus up to $3,500, a sign-on bonus, and bi-weekly productivity bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active, state-specific MD or DO medical license in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease
• A valid DEA registration and furnishing license
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
• Experience treating and diagnosing patients with HIV/AIDS in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• The ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS certification
