Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is seeking a Physician for an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility in Texas. You’ll work with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for underserved communities, including LGBTQ individuals and people living with HIV/AIDS, with a 100% outpatient schedule.

The role includes a base salary with retention bonus up to $50,000, quarterly bonuses up to $3,500, a sign-on bonus, relocation reimbursement up to $10,000, and a yearly CME

Qualifications

• Active state MD/DO license in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
• Valid DEA registration and furnishing license.
• Experience treating HIV/AIDS in outpatient primary care.
• Ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered HIV primary care in an outpatient setting.
• Manage a busy outpatient schedule with a focus on underserved communities.
• Collaborate with a full support team (Practice Manager, MA, RNs) to deliver care.
• Share a call schedule and maintain continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications

• Active, state-specific MD or DO medical license in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease
• A valid DEA registration and furnishing license
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
• Experience treating and diagnosing patients with HIV/AIDS in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• The ability to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS certification
