Job summary

Dexcom seeks a dynamic engineer to own process development and equipment characterization from concept to production for biosensing fabrication. You will start on pilot scale, ramp to full production, and coordinate with leadership on timelines and feasibility studies.

You will apply biosensing and signal processing expertise to DOE-driven process improvements, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate with vendors to scale equipment within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 5–8 years related experience or Master’s with 2–5 years or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience in biosensing fabrication processes and DOE leadership.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• You own the development and characterization of the process and equipment from concept to implementation on the line.
• Start on pilot scale and ramp to full production based on project phase.
• You develop and maintain project timelines and provide updates to leadership.
• You apply biosensing knowledge and signal processing to develop sensor fabrication processes and lead DOEs.
• You lead a diverse, cross-collaborating team to solve problems.
• You work on processes that support biosensing fabrication including coating and laser cutting.
• You partner with vendors to develop equipment and integrate into Dexcom processes.
• You lead and guide a team of engineers performing similar work.
